Charging your phone at the airport? Security expert says you might be inviting hackers in

A security expert has warned travelers against using public charging stations at airports, citing major risks like malware installation, data theft through a method called "juice jacking," and unintentional data exposure. Even untampered ports can compromise sensitive information, which could later be used for identity theft or sold on the dark web. The FBI has also issued a public warning urging people to avoid free charging stations in airports, hotels, and shopping centers.
