Starting June 1, 2025, WhatsApp will stop working on several older smartphones as it raises its minimum system requirements. iPhones must now run iOS 15.1 or later, and Android devices need at least Android 5.1. Models like iPhone 5s, 6, 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z1, and others will lose support.
