Despite these massive offers, Altman said none of OpenAI’s core team members have left so far. He attributed their loyalty to OpenAI’s unique mission and culture, which focuses on developing superintelligent AI. Meta’s aggressive recruitment comes amid its broader push to expand its AI capabilities, including a $14 billion investment in Scale AI.
