Instagram users who are tired of seeing repetitive or irrelevant Reels can reset their recommendations using the platform’s Reset Suggested Content feature. The reset refreshes recommendations across Reels, Explore and the main feed without deleting posts, messages or followed accounts. After resetting, users can retrain the algorithm by intentionally engaging with content they enjoy, skipping unwanted Reels and using tools such as Not Interested and Favorites to shape their feed.
