WhatsApp has introduced the Meta Business Agent in India, an AI-powered assistant that helps businesses automate customer interactions, recommend products, book appointments, qualify leads and provide 24/7 support. Announced at the WhatsApp Business Summit in Mumbai, the company also launched the Meta Business Agent Platform for larger enterprises, enabling customised AI agents that integrate with existing business tools.
